SRA2990CF Cooling Fan Kit

**Update 5-28-15: These were due into the U.S. in June-July. Currently Ranger states it my be July to Fall 2015 before we see them. They are deciding on weather to continue making them. I expect they will for now. If you have a backorder for them I would suggest keeping the order as-is. You can check back here for updates. If they decide to discontinue them we will notify customers with backorders and issue a refund as soon as we receive that information. We're not currently accepting backorders at this time.
**The newer 2995Dx base radios come with an internal fan to cool the internal power supply. This built in fan does not cool the radios main amplifier finals. We do recommend the SRA2990CF cooling fan above to prolong the life of the radio.
**Note: The optional dual fan kit is mounted to the back of the radio using the existing radio screws. The fan kit must be wired into the radios circuit board on some radios. It does not simply plug in to every radio. Radios that come with the RCA type fan jack on the back are the Stonewall Jackson, RCI 2990Dx, 2995Dx, and Galaxy Turbo. There is an addtional cost for installation and wiring if you are also purchasing a radio. There is a fan option listed with the base radios after clicking "View Detail" on them. (You can also run the fan on an external 12Vdc power supply if you have one available.
